Educational Qualification -
According to the official notification of mumbai port trust vacancies 2015 for pilot, marine engineers etc. are required to hold the undermentioned qualifications.
a ) Pilot - Those who are possessing a certificate of competency as master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India along with One year post qualification experience as Master / Chief Officer of a foreign going ship. are eligible to apply for this post.
b ) Marine Engineer - Those applying for this posts are required to hold the passing certificate of MOT I Class Motor certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 along with a year of professional experience as chief Engineer on board a foreign going ship.
