Educational Qualification -
As per the official notification of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2015 -
JRF/SRF - Those are eligible to apply who are possessing degreee like M.Sc./ B.Tech./ BE in Botany/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/Biochemistry/ Plant Sciences or related area or equivalent. Candidates should have obtained 60% in qualifying degree examination. Candidates having throughout first division and an experience in Plant Tissue Culture techniques will be preferred.
Project Assistant - Only those are eligible who are holding degree like M.Sc./ B.Tech./ BE in Botany/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Plant Sciences or related area or equivalent. Candidates should have obtained 60% in qualifying degree examination. Candidates having experience in Plant Tissue Culture techniques will be preferred.
Salary Figures -
a ) JRF @Rs. 16000/- (Consolidated) + 20% HRA / SRF @Rs 18000/- (Consolidated) + 20% HRA
b ) Project Assistants - Rs 8,000/-(fixed) per month
